Giving Back
Helping orphans in need
We love orphans! Fundaniños is an orphanage in the Fraijanes community that we have collaborated with for the past ten years.
We also help 20 orphaned children providing basic food supplies on a monthly basis. These children´s mothers were single moms who died during the Covid era; now the children are under the care of close relatives such as grandmothers or aunts who are very poor and need help to sustain the orphaned children. We also give them shoes and school supplies for the new school year.
Back to School Project
This is our most recent project, we give each of the children of the migrant coffee pickers a bag full of school supplies so they are motivated and ready to go back to school in their towns.
Saturday Gatherings
This is an activity we enjoy very as we get to spend time with all the migrant workers that work so hard during the harvest. They get a chance to eat, relax, and enjoy a nice time with each other. The kids love it!
Weekend Treats
For the holidays and some special dates we organize a small party for the workers so they can enjoy some nice food and celebrate together.
Clothing for the Farmworkers
Through the generous gifts of our partners and clients, we have been able to give workers, including their children: food, clothing, shoes, and hygiene items.
